Thomas Rapp

Health economist and Associate Professor (LIRAES), University of Paris

Thomas Rapp is an Associate Professor at the University of Paris, and co-director of the health policy research axis at LIEPP (Sciences Po). He specializes in health economics, economics of aging and health policy analysis. He was Harkness Fellow at Harvard (2015-2016) and Health Economist at the OECD (2017-2019). In 2015, he created a master's degree in health economics at the Sorbonne in Abu Dhabi, which he directed until 2018. Since 2016, he has been associate editor of the American journal "Value in Health". In particular, he participated as an expert in the work of the strategic sector committee for the health industries (National Industry Council), the committee on the efficiency of telemedicine (Haute Autorité de Santé), and the scientific committee of AGGIR standards. and PATHOS (Ministry of Solidarity and Health). For 10 years, its research program has been funded by several national and international grants (National Research Agency, "CommonWealth Fund, Innovative Medicines Initiative" of the European Commission etc.). He is the author of over 50 publications.
