In Asia, Dr. Aguignier has worked in Japan, in Hong Kong where he held several positions of regional responsibility, and in China, where he was Vice President and member of the board of directors of a local bank.He currently teaches Chinese economics at France’s National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO) and Sciences Po.Philippe Aguignier is a graduate of France’s Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE, and holds a PhD in East Asian studies from the New Sorbonne University Paris III.
