Matthias Fekl, former French Minister of the Interior, former Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, former member of the National Assembly, is a lawyer at the Paris Bar. He is a founding partner of the law firm Audit-Duprey-Fekl and of the international mediation platform Equanim. He is a director of the French committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC France), of Paris Place de droit and of the Société de législation comparée. He chairs the international commission of the CPME.

He is the author of Droit public with Marie Sirinelli and Julien Sorin, and of 2027, with Wladimir d'Ormesson. He has published numerous articles on legal issues and/or public debate, and writes a bi-monthly column entitled "Paris-Berlin" in the daily L'Opinion.

He is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure - Lettres et sciences humaines, of the ENA, and of Sciences-Po, where he taught public law (2005 - 2010).
