Jean-Michel Darrois is a lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal and founder of the law firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier.

He has been a member of both Paris Place du Droit and the Commission for the Liberation of French Growth ("Attali Commission"). He has also been appointed Chairman of the Commission on the future of the legal professions by the President of the French Republic.  

He also contributed to design Sciences Po law school curriculum - an academic center in which he taught as an associate professor. He now chairs Sciences Po's strategic committee.

A graduate of Sciences Po, he holds a postgraduate degree in public law and has published various articles on the state of the French legal system.
