Jean-François Rial

CEO and Co-founder, Voyageurs du Monde

Jean-François Rial is CEO of Voyageurs du monde. As such, he defends a responsible and engaged tourism. Having developed a taste for learning other cultures from an early age, he truly found his way in 1991 during a trip through the Sahara desert. After starting his career in the financial information sector, he decided to devote his time to his passion, travelling. In 1996, he took over Voyageurs du monde alongside four friends (Alain Capestan, Lionel Habasque, Frédéric Moulin et Loïc Minvielle).

As such, he is at the helm of a corporate citizen, tangibly committed to responsible travel, with the goal of reconciling ethics and economic efficiency.

Jean-François Rial is a strong supporter of the right to asylum. He co-chaired the report Saving the Right to Asylum jointly published by Institut Montaigne and Terra Nova.
