Dominique Lafont

CEO of Lafont Africa Corporation

Dominique Lafont graduated from Sciences Po and Essec and has a university degree in business law. He began his career in 1987 at the Arthur Andersen audit firm. In 1995, he was Director of Rivaud's industrial participations, before joining the Bolloré group after its takeover in 1997. From 2003 to 2014, he managed all the activities of the Bolloré group in Africa, as CEO of Bolloré Africa Logistics, which has become a major player on the continent (55 countries, $3 billion in turnover, 25,000 employees). In 2015, Dominique Lafont created his own advisory and investment structure, Lafont Africa Corporation. He is also senior advisor to KKR (until 2017) and BCG for Africa. Dominique Lafont chairs the African Committee of the Medef International and is a member of Institut Montaigne’s Europe-Africa taskforce.
