Christophe de Voogd

Doctor in History, professor at Sciences Po

Christophe De Voogd is an alumnus of the prestigious Ecole Normale Supérieure and holds a doctorate in history. He specializes in political theory and rhetoric, subjects he teaches at Sciences Po Paris and in Brussels. His latest published work, on the art of developing a positive discourse in favour of a reform of the French welfare state, is called “Réformer: quel discours pour convaincre?” (Fondapol, 2017).

A specialist of the Netherlands, he is the author of a comprehensive history book on the country (“Histoire des Pays-Bas des origines à nos jours”, Fayard). He also contributed to a collective work titled “Histoire consacré à Spinoza et Amsterdam au Siècle d'or" (April 2020).
