Charlie Beckett is a former journalist at the BBC and ITN's Channel 4 News. He is the founding director of Polis, the LSE's international journalism think-tank and a professor in the Department of Media and Communications. He was the leader of the LSE Truth, Trust and Technology Commission that reported in 2018 and is currently leading the Polis Journalism and AI research project. He is the author of SuperMediaand Wikileaks: News In The Networked Era.
