Laurent Bigorgne, director of Institut Montaigne since 2011, submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors of Institut Montaigne at 7pm on February 27. This decision was accepted by the Board of Directors during an exceptional meeting held that day.

The Board of Directors of Institute Montaigne, Camille Godeau, Deputy Director of Institut Montaigne, as well as the Institute’s Executive Committee, will ensure the continuity of its activities under the supervision of its President, Henri de Castries, and its two Vice Presidents, Jean-Dominique Senard and David Azéma.

Institut Montaigne is taking every measure to support its employees during this period by providing them with a psychological support network. In addition, a third party is undertaking an internal investigation into the Institute’s working environment.
