Andrew Old is a public health physician in Auckland New Zealand where he works as the Associate Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Director for Health Gain for Waitematā District Health Board. He is currently seconded as the lead of Planning & Intelligence Covid-19 response for the Northern Region of New Zealand.

He was awarded a Fellowship of the NZMA in 2011 for services to the profession and the New Zealand public, and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the University of Auckland.
