How can France become a leader in innovation?

After a deal had been reached last December between London and Brussels during the first phase of the Brexit negotiations, Institut Montaigne welcomed Lord Edward Llewellyn, Ambassador of the United Kingdom in France, Xavier Bertrand, President of the regional council of Hauts-de-France, as well as Ramon Fernandez, Delegate Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director Finance, Performance and Europe of Orange, to discuss the second part of the negotiations. Lord Llewellyn stressed the fact that the United Kingdom wished to remain strongly committed to European issues, and all the speakers agreed on the importance of reaching an all-party agreement despite the potential difficulties to face.
