Marianne Laigneau

State Councilor

Marianne Laigneau graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Sèvres, the French National School of Administration, Sciences Po. She holds an “Aggrégation” in Classical Literature and a Masters of Advanced Studies in French Literature.
 
Deputy Director of the HR Group of EDF since January 2010, Marianne became Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources in December 2010 before being appointed Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of the International Division, member of the Executive Committee.
 
Before joining the EDF group in January 2005, Marianne was Head of Institutional Affairs at the Directorate-General of Gaz de France, then in September 2004, became Deputy Head of Public Affairs.
 
Between 2000 and 2002, Marianne Laigneau was “chargée de mission” to the Director of the National School of Administration, judicial advisor to the Ministry of Culture, and Senior Lecturer of Public Law at the French National School of Administration.
 
In 1997, she worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and held the position of First Council of the French Embassy in Tunis, responsible for communication and political, judicial and communal affairs.
